What Happens Next

After you get in touch, we will discuss your situation and schedule an inspection of the attic. The inspection traces the water to its source and maps the moisture with meters, and you will receive a written scope of recommended work with an individual estimate before anything begins. There is no obligation in requesting an inspection.

Preparing for Your Inspection

You do not need to prepare extensively, but a few things make the inspection smoother. Clear a path to the attic access so the inspector can get in with equipment. If you have photos of the damage or of the suspected source, have them available. Note any recent work on the roof, plumbing, or HVAC system, and mention past leaks in the same area even if they seemed to resolve on their own. If the attic holds stored belongings in the affected area, moving what you can beforehand saves time, but do not handle materials that may be contaminated or moldy. Leave those for the crew.

If It Is Urgent

If water is actively pouring into the attic, a ceiling is bulging or sagging, or water is near electrical wiring or fixtures, say so when you call so the situation can be prioritized appropriately. Do not enter an attic where water and electricity may be in contact, and stay clear of any ceiling that is sagging under water weight.
